Contraception Update 2026

Event Description
Master the Future of Family Planning: Contraception Update 2026

In an era of rapidly evolving clinical guidelines and shifting patient expectations, staying current in reproductive health is more than a professional requirement—it is a cornerstone of high-quality primary care. We invite GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists and Practice Nurses to our upcoming webinar, “Contraception 2026 Update.”

Why Attend?

The landscape of contraception is changing. With the recent release of the UKMEC 2026 updates and new data showing a decline in LARC (Long-Acting Reversible Contraception) uptake, clinicians face the dual challenge of managing complex medical eligibility while combating widespread online misinformation. This webinar provides a streamlined, evidence-based roadmap to navigate these hurdles.

Benefits for the Clinician
  • Clinical Confidence: Gain clarity on the latest eligibility criteria for complex cases, including contraception for those over 40, perimenopausal patients, and those with co-morbidities.

  • Efficiency in Consultations: Learn practical communication “scripts” to address common myths and side-effect concerns, allowing you to deliver high-quality counseling within standard appointment times.

Benefits for Your Patients
  • Reduced Unintended Pregnancies: By honing your skills in LARC counseling and emergency contraception, you directly empower patients to choose the most effective methods for their lifestyles.

  • Patient-Centered Care: Improved knowledge allows for “Shared Decision Making,” ensuring patients feel heard and satisfied with their choices, which significantly increases long-term adherence.

  • Safety First: Ensure your prescribing is backed by the latest safety data, minimizing risks and managing side effects proactively to improve the overall patient experience.

Don’t let your practice fall behind. Join us for this interactive session to ensure your contraceptive care remains safe, effective, and patient-focused.

This meeting is worth 1.5 revalidation credits.
